Opera is going to relaunch affiliate program

If you remember, an affiliate program was launched by Opera Software along with Opera 8 release on April 19, 2005 to give registration key upon 250 unique referrals. Opera Software is going to relaunch it soon to promote Opera. Stay tuned for more information.

You have to use the new affiliate link as shown below (replace operawatch with your My Opera username).

Also, affiliate counter will be reset to make sure everyone starts off at the same level and you can replace existing Opera banner in your My Opera page with any banner as shown here.

    Also, regarding reset, it’s kinda sad. I remember buying ads for couple hunderd bucks few years ago in site when loved it…

    Is this new? I replaced my banner with a nicer one long ago, but I’ve never seen any affiliate links on the account page.

    And what do you get after 250 referrals? A registration key for what? You really shouldn’t post anything serious on April 1st, noone will believe you.

    I’ve never seen any affiliate links on the account page.

    Only beta testers can see it.

    And what do you get after 250 referrals? A registration key for what?

    That is for previous affiliate program. Wait for more info about new affiliate program.
