2 Million members on My Opera

Today, My Opera surpassed 2 million mark for registered users.

Congratulations to Opera Software and My Opera developers for reaching on this milestone.

It took 6 years to reach 1 million mark and only 16 months to reach 2 million mark. My Opera is growing fast at a rate of approximately 3,000 new members per day.

More than 0.4 million blogs and nearly 0.6 million photo albums are hosted on My Opera. There are more than 2.8 million posts in forums.

    Aren’t these numbers just for the website side of things? Does anyone know the numbers for Opera Link.

    I believe that Link and MyOpera are connected, so when you registered an Opera Link account, you’re part of that 2 millions ;-)

    We’re both right :) I knew that MyOpera manages Opera Link accounts, but what I didn’t know was that they are different types of accounts and don’t count into these 2 mils…

    i have a question about opera i haven’t been able to get answered anywhere else. I really want to give it a chance- i currently use chrome, but it sucks with video, so i use FF for video. it seems that opera does not have a way to import all my usernames and passwords. rather, i have to type each one in under the Wand function thingy. when i was trying out chrome, it imported all my usernames and passwords from firefox without any problems. is opera ever going to develop this capability? and what about an official google toolbar? thanks so much, and congrats on meeting this significant goal in opera’s development :)

    I suppose this is not the right place to ask. Use google, dig through Opera forums and I bet you’ll find answers for all your questions.

    Anyway, 2 milion after 16 months is outstanding score! Congratulations :)
