Wow! This is some major hire Opera! Can’t wait to see the results

Just asked my other half what she thinks of the UI on the Ubuntu machine?
Her reply was, “Have you been changing things again without telling me again?”

So, is there any result about the survey?

Hiring Hicks just means one thing: Opera is getting a new Icon, and probably a new mascot too
Btw, i hope the lack of right-click menu in the transfers window gets noticed…

I know this sounds silly, but I have tried using Opera for hundred of times and changed back to firefox, chrome or even IE after 2 days of use in the past 10 years because of the interface. It has probably the ugliest and boring logo for an app. I just can’t stands the serif font face and its dark red and grey shadow. So its really good news hick was hired! Next, the recent UI way better and sleeker than the older versions but still it feels too cold, unfriendly, sterile, detail and serious. Not saying I like colorful glassy icons, it is just too distracting and ‘muddy’. A cleaner and simpler look will be great like chrome and safari. Remove as much lines from the UI (browser chrome) will be great. Looking forward for hick revamp!!!!
