Right click on speeddial.ini → Open with → Choose Program… → [SELECT] Notepad → OK

Open Notepad and drag & drop speeddial.ini file.

How in the World do you open the speeddial.ini in notepad? I tried every way I can think of. Same old error message (link not found).

That took me to the page I found the speeddial.ini. I don’t think I would be able to edit that at all.

Open speeddial.ini file in notepad (or any text editor) and edit.

I guess I’m just not getting it. I finally found a thing called speed.ini but it is part of Opera. When I closed Opera it closed too.
I know it must be simple but I’m embarrassed to say I can’t do it. I went to file and opened a new tab. In the search I copied this:C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera\profile\. That took me to the page I found the speeddial.ini. I don’t think I would be able to edit that at all.

Open about:opera, copy path to Opera directory under Paths, paste it in your file manager (explorer) and find speeddial.ini file there.

When I open about:opera and try to click on the preference it does nothing. It doesn’t respond at all.

I still can’t figure out how to do this. Where is Opera’s text editor and where is the directory. How do you type speed.ini with Opera closed.
I know I must be a dummy so I need support for dummies. ha

I can´t help, but using opera 9.61 I am not able to use this tip. I added those three lines about size, but it doesn’t seem to work….
(Still 3×3 squares)

of course you need to make a gui menu for this in opera preferences… for me it’s simple to do this but not for unexperienced users
