"But most of all, I expected far more than 11,9 million users in March month, given the fact that OM is installed on 44 million devices…"

Maybe not all that starnge. i for one has downloaded and installed opera mini around 6-7 times for various phones etc. There will always be a quite a few that will not like what they, or that are just checking it out, so 12 mill. unique useres are not bad at all!

The revolutinary OM 4 beta (desktop view and zooming) was released in June, and the final in November 2007. Surprisingly the beta had no effect, while the final more than doubled the monthly pageviews... As for sites, I expected breaking news (CNN, BBC,etc.) on top. But most of all, I expected far more than 11,9 million users in March month, given the fact that OM is installed on 44 million devices...

These results surprised me a little. I was mainly surprised that people google for information on their mobiles less than they browse myspace.

The only times that I ever use the web from a mobile are to find things on google. I can't really stand using myspace though, so maybe that's my problem. :D
