Published March 6th, 2008 2:27 PM EST By Daniel GoldmanChris Mills, Opera’s developer relations manager and editor of dev.opera, wrote an excellent article over at ThinkVitamin.com about the mobile Web and how to develop for it.
The article demystifies the world of mobile Web development, or in other words, developing web sites so that they will provide an acceptable user experience on mobile devices. Chris goes through how “the mobile Web” differs from the normal Web, the basics of techniques you can employ to make your sites work successfully on both mobile and desktop browsers, some general DOs and DON’Ts for mobile Web design, and numerous resources where you can go to find out more information.
The article is an excellent resource for every one of you Web developers. The mobile Web is gaining popularity faster than ever before; don’t get left behind.
