India’s premier mobile magazine, My Mobile, is already talking about Opera Mini 5 (and 6).
Given that Opera “has been coming out with two editions of the browser every year, it would be safe to assume that we’ll be seeing Opera Mini 5 (if not 6) in 2008”, their cover story says.
I can tell you that the Opera Mini team is working on some pretty nifty enhancements for the upcoming upgrades to Opera Mini 4. I believe Opera Mini will continue to revolutionize and set a gold standard for the mobile Web.

I wish the next opera comes with a documents reader (winrar, jpg, doc, pdf) and real support for blackberry devices, because even when blackberry use proxy, opera really improves blackberry capabilities, actually I think RIM should include opera mini as a complementary browser for blackberry users.
using
ahmm can you put connection security on the settings, so we can manually turn it on and off without asking the network provider? please.. thanks

the opera mini team should work on support of flash elements in the webpages..most of the websites like youtube, nokia site and many greetings sites have flash elements embedded in them..and opera mini team should work on internal download manager in the software too..
using
Flash elements would really be pushing it (even if most the work was done by a mini server and not the actual phone) but an internal browser would not use up resources much. Only thing is sony ericsson phones would require digital signing to prevent irritating drive access prompts. The prompts would be even worse with a built in file browser and doc’s viewer. Those kinds of apps should be kept seperate.
