A: Absolutely free.
Q: Why should I download a browser? Doesn't my computer already come with one for free?
A: It's about getting more out of the time you spend on the internet. Opera is designed to be much faster than these browsers and gives you powerful features that the default browser lacks. Default browsers like Internet Explorer are also more likely to be subjected to dangerous software such as viruses and spyware.

Q: Can I also use Opera on my mobile phone?

Just a little extra tip:
Hold “Shift” while clicking a context menu item (like translate or search) to open the result in a new tab.

To bring up the context menu you can also double click to select a word or triple click to select a sentence and open the context menu.
This are just a few of those little things, why I really love Opera.

It’s very bad that there is not russian language in this menu by default.
I recommend for Opera Software to use PROMT for russianenglish, russiandeutsch and etc. translations.

The Opera translate feature should offer translation of whole web pages too (into English), eg. by loading Google translation of URL.
Now user needs to mark a sentence eg. on a Japanese page, then right click for Google search, hope Google finds correct URL source, then download the translated version of page.

You know, they are right. Opera should affiliate with other online translation websites to provide even more possible translations. Maybe it’s time to review the translator partnership. Just think about it.

I am pretty sure you can use buttons to translate whole pages using buttons.
My idea is to modify the “validate html” button found on the page linked under. To send the page to google translator (or any other translation site) instead of the html verification site should be easy for anyone familiar to making buttons. I tried, but I was unable to set settings as “from language” and “to language”. Then again, I have never made any buttons before. I am sure it is easy as pie, but it is late and i have no time to find out what all the “%XX” are standing for.

I found a button for it already made: it has many languages implemented in on (my buttom would have been from _one_ language to _one_ other). This one is far better. (even if it uses babelfish, wich i personally rather dislike.

To look up English / German translations for words I prefer leo.org and it is very easy to integrate it in Opera as custom search (maybe this works also with some Russian dictionary?).
Just once I go to the page where I can enter the word to translate (http://dict.leo.org/ende?lang=de&lp=ende), right click on the search field - create search (I enter “leo” as shortcut, very intuitive IMHO).
And now I can highlight a word on any page, right click, Search with - LEO
