Wow! That's wonderful! I had no idea that Opera Mini was so popular.
I use it many times every day on my Nokia E61..and before this mobile I've used it on my SE Z800i and before that on my old SE K300. So I've used it since version 2 or something like that and I tested all Dimension betas when they came out.
I have to say that I'm really satisfied with Opera Mini 4, it works great on my Nokia E61.

What do you guys think about Mozilla and the Firefox Mobile that's planned to be released next year? Will Opera have problems with FF Mobile?
Afterall, Firefox is a much more powerful brand than Opera.

I'm really not understanding the different looks on the site as described above, but it's not a new phenomenon. When wasn't it that way? The figures reported here for October, for example (http://operawatch.com/news/2007/11/opera-desktop-browser-experiences-substantial-growth-in-browser-market-share.html) do no jibe with the figures shown when visiting the site normally for that month. Is it possible the better Opera numbers as seen one way come from lumping in visits to My Opera, which, of course, would be skewed Opera's way?

That aside, it would be more useful to put Mini in the context of other *mobile* browsers, wouldn't it? Where's that chart? How would it stack up against the iPhone? Who has the lion's share in that market, Windows Mobile (IE)?

If you change the data range from november to november, you get pretty much the same results.

When I'm logged into Hitslink via MyOpera I see "better" statistics. When I'm not logged I see just statistics FataL sent. I think it's a little messy. But I believe better statistics because Opera Mini can't have just 0.03%.

philry4n, I'm not sure either why the stats are different. As I said above, even the stats from the previous months have change.

FYI: We're contacting HitsLink/NetApplications to sort things out.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked too when I saw that page FataL is linking to...hopefully they'll discover some error somewhere and fix it. Thanks for the screenshot Daniel, wouldn't have thought to check their stats elsewhere.

FataL, there is something terribly wrong with those stats. Just take a look at the stats from the previous month, you'll notice how Opera is shown to have a share of somewhere in the 0.50s, this isn't consistent with what they posted last month. Look at my screenshots from the previous months.

Another indicator that those stats are erroneous. According to them, more people browser the web on the PlayStation than the Nintendo Wii Internet channel. I have no concrete data on this, but something tells me that it's the opposite.
