Opera Hackathon (photos)
Published December 6th, 2007 7:57 PM EST By Daniel GoldmanThe engineering department at Opera held a hackathon this week.
Below is a photo of the winning team’s project. Here’s a description of the project by William Viker, who along with TheAtilla and Quai built this thing:
“Built it in two days with some secret opera stuff (sorry, can’t tell!), javascript and some c-code. Assembled the whole car from a kit, and it’s controllable in amusing ways ;D
Moveable camera up/down/sideways, moveable lights (following the camera position?), steering left/right, speed reverse/forward ..in any speed! etc.
As I said, I can’t mention the details, but it’s awesome! ;D”
