Opera getting high marks for its browser on the Motorola Q
Published November 1st, 2007 12:59 PM EDT By Daniel GoldmanThe Opera Mobile browser on the new Motorola Q9h, which goes on sale tomorrow by AT&T Wireless, is getting praised by the media for its superiority over Microsoft’s Pocket Internet Explorer (Pocket IE).
From PC World magazine (also syndicated by The Washington Post):
“The included Opera mobile browser and Documents to Go programs are both superior to Microsoft’s bundled browser and office apps.”
“Motorola decided to do its own thing again and chose Opera as the default Web browser for the Q9h. Once again, we’re not complaining as Opera does a great job of optimizing Web pages for mobile devices.”
“the Opera Web browser (to offer) [offers] a better browsing experience than Microsoft Explorer for small-screen devices”
