Google’s newly acquired GrandCentral recommends using Opera Mini

The recently acquired GrandCentral by Google is recommending to its users to download and use Opera Mini in order to access its services on mobile phones.
GrandCentral provides a service that consolidates multiple phone numbers into one. In other words, when someone calls you on your GrandCentral phone number, it will ring on your home phone, mobile, pager, etc.
From GrandCentral.com:
“Note: Certain mobile browsers may not display the site properly. In this case, you may want to download the free Opera Mini browser.”
Google acquired GrandCentral this past summer.

I suppose the acid test (pun fully intended) will come when/if the Big-G launch their *own* mobile device…

…will Opera Mini still be their Mobile-browser of choice?

I use the PocketPC version of Internet Explorer and GrandCentrals mobile page works great. Not sure why I would have to load another browser…

What’s with the spam from “Wakeup Call FROM nORWAY”?

Chris,
They don’t say you have to use another browser. Their simply recommend people who have problems with their website to use Opera Mini.
We obviously think you should since you get more out of your browsing experience and get a faster browser which works on way more websites

So whatever2 doesn’t know what he’s doing, but the images are really good? Interesting to know that whatever2 finds that which makes him confused to be “really good”
