Good video but…
Driving and browsing the web on a mobile at the same time?
using
I saw this video before on link.opera.com
I like the style and the music.
using
That’s pretty good! Will it air outside the US?
using
Very nice

It doesn’t show the product! You can’t figure out from it that it’s Opera. You can hardly see it’s about browsing at all. I don’t like it.

I agree with kL. It’s way too long and doesn’t drive home the message. Readers of this blog sure know what it is about. But anybody else? I’m not so sure.
The previous video has similiar problems. It’s too hard to recognize anything on the screens that are shown.
I think a narrator or at least some more info would help.
Please tell us that is not intended to be Opera’s big PR offensive. Well, at least I didn’t spot anybody in a superman costume…
using
Can’t figure out that it’s Opera? It zooms in on OM in the first few seconds!
using
I agree with Grin. It’s hard to see the screens to really pass the message that Opera is a browser. There isn’t a solid message. It’s a pretty cool video, but not going to be very affective.
using
too long, no clear message, not very informative, only opera users understand what it is all about, and sorry to say, quality could be better
2/10 (music is nice tho)
i dont know who leads opera marketing, but it is time to let them go away and hire new ones. all opera marketing eforts are soft, gentle and uneffective.. (and sometimes pathethic - like that friendly man in tights)

Can we legally splice this up and make our own ads out of this video? I’d like to try and shorten it to a regular sized TV ad and upload it to my YouTube channel (dmxell) for my subscribers to see and possibly convince them to switch.
using
I’m afraid I agree with those who are critical - I think the video is all atmosphere and no info. A bit more focus on the what (Opera) and the how (Link) would have made it better.
using
Start with the end… ” Opera, the Web everywhere”… and reduce it to 30 seconds…
Good news, this Major site says… ” our favorite mobile browser Opera Mini 4 ”

DMXell, I don’t see why it should be an issue. Go ahead and take a stab at it. If it’s good, I’ll even post it here on Opera Watch.

Okay, thanks

I strongly (make that caps, bold font, italics, underlined and blinking) disagree with promoting the use of mobile phones while driving.

What is “Wakeup Call FROM nORWAY” trying to say?

In case anyone is curious , We (fourth grade gladiators) did the music for this spot. Thanks for the nice comments.
