A day in court - Opera Mini to the rescue
Published September 4th, 2007 5:37 PM EDT By Daniel GoldmanI just got back from my first day at jury duty. Unless you’re in the courtroom listening to a case, it’s pretty much boring – you wait and wait until you get picked for a court case. After hearing the opening talk by the county sheriff this morning, the rest of the day was pretty much just sitting around and waiting for your hear your name on the loudspeakers.
Pretty boring. No?
Fortunately for me, however, I had Opera Mini on my phone. I kept myself occupied by reading all the blog posts and comments of the Opera 9.5 alpha release.
I read through most of the comments on Digg, which by the way, were very positive towards Opera.
What would I do without Opera Mini!?

I can only agree. I use Opera Mini a lot when I’m “on the go” ( I have to take the bus to school, so I’m quite often “on the go”) and it’s great, both to kill time and in order to do some actual work.
I have started spreading it to my friends who all feel the same. Is there 15 minutes before class starts, well lets check out a forum, read some news, or just read a few comics on-line. All thanks to Opera Mini
When your working it’s great to have Wikipedia and other such sites, right there at your fingertips. How was it again? Should we go to the library or maybe find a computer that’s available and look it up. Well, don’t worry I have my cellphone right here (with Opera Mini of course)!
Opera Mini has really changed my life. Best software ever, if your working or just killing time

Unfortunatly I use a very old Sony Ericsson T610 on pre-paid. So I only use Opera Mini to check departure times of trains. Over WAP…so pretty amazing Opera Mini even supports the oldest mobile phones and technologies available

I have a T610 too… it’s not old, I love it! It’s the most durable phone ever. I drop it all the time and it still works. I even through it in a snowball at someone when I wanted them to read a text on it and it still worked at the end. Opera Mini works great on it too!

I got a Nokia E65 yesterday, but I really can’t get Opera Mini to work. Both versions 3.1 and 4.0 beta 2 are not working for me. Opera Mobile was working right away though. Too bad that one isn’t free…

What would you do without Opera Mini? Well, you would probably be bored.

I got a Opera Mobile for Symbian S60 key and I’m now a happy mobile Opera user, though I’m not using Opera Mini.
