Opera marketing summit in Silicon Valley
Published August 20th, 2007 7:32 AM EDT By Daniel GoldmanI’m flying out today to Opera’s new office in Silicon Valley for a marketing summit.
We will be covering many areas of Opera’s marketing efforts, including our marketing plans for the upcoming launches of Opera 9.5 and Opera Mini 4 (final), new design for Opera’s website, new referral program, viral marketing and more.
I plan on taking some pictures (and maybe video) of our new office.
See ya in the Valley!

I can’t wait too. I hope it rocks the browser world.

Daniel, you’re probably already aware of it, but in any case, I suggest you to read the user comments on Haavard’s blog. Lots of constructive comments on Opera’s marketing strategy.

Good luck… Wish I could join you. Just 650 miles north of you guys.

Please look at the comments Haavard received regarding marketing as suggested earlier - it should be the first order of discussion.

Marketing is really important. Agree with the previous post. Enhancing the distinct flavor Opera offers and popularization of it around the globe.

Luchio, yes. I’ve seen and read Haavard’s blog post with all the good comments there.

I’m part of the marketing summit as well, and for the record, I’ve read Haavard’s post and the accompanying comments.
