LifeHacker posts first batch of Opera screenshots

LifeHacker today published the first set of Opera (and other non-Firefox browsers) screenshots that many of you have sent in.

It seems that Opera users have impressed the Adam over at LifeHacker. Here are some snippets:

“Today’s featured submissions contain a lot of variety, but the overwhelming-majority award goes to Opera.”

“I’m not ready to ditch Firefox for any of these browsers just yet (working as I do online all day, I really do need a lot of the extensions the Firefox community provides), but if I didn’t work in the browser, some of these setups would be worth a second (and even third) look. In particular, I’ve always really liked Opera for its speed, ease of use, and emphasis on shortcuts.”

The screenshot of my Opera that I submitted wasn’t posted yet. Hopefully it will get up there with the next batch of screenshots.

I submitted a picture of mine when I use Ubuntu Studio, though I forgot to give them my name so I hope that my name I use for my system is shown.

    wupperbayer,

Same! I’ve migrated to that skin too now. Fantastic.

It’s also got me (uh oh) fiddling with my Vista setup again… ahhh relaxing dreamscene of water running over rocks.

Hmm, now I need the toilet for some reason.

Just stroke my mind: Why didn’t anyone post a picture of their phone? Was there some rule against it?

niceee. I didn’t realise you could put the panel buttons on the side like this. I’ve set mine to images only and definately see myself using the panel more often than previously :)

Wherever you see Opera - it’s always slick cool! But sometimes we are forced to use other browsers.

Your blog falsely identifies xp64 bit as server 2003. I would have edited my previous comment but I don’t see that option. Feel free to join them together.
