Help spread Opera Mini’s reach: MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and more
Published June 19th, 2007 8:02 AM EDT By Daniel GoldmanWith today’s launch of Opera Mini 4 beta, we need to make sure that as many people as possible hear about Opera Mini.
Help revolutionize the mobile web, and help bring an end to WAP world. You can do this by spreading the word of Opera Mini. Log into the social networks (Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, My Opera, or whatever) and make it known that you’re using Opera Mini to browse the web on your mobile phone.
If you have a blog, write about your experiences with the new beta. On MySpace, send your friends a bulletin about the beta release, or leave comments on their profiles. Even better, leave comments using Opera Mini and mention that you’re doing so. On Facebook and Twitter, update your status to say that you’re joining the Mobile Web Revolution by downloading and using Opera Mini. Post links to download Opera Mini on your Facebook posted items page.

I posted an editorial about it on my site:

I do think this is bigger news than the iPhone, since it’s available now, for free, to any of the billions of Java cellphones worldwide, but let’s see how much time CNN or the NYT devotes to it.
