Opera 9.2 beta featured on Download.com
Published April 2nd, 2007 10:02 AM EDT By Daniel GoldmanThe beta version of Opera 9.2 is now being featured front-and-center on Download.com, the popular downloads site. I’m not sure how long it has been up there already, but hey, it’s great exposure for Opera and Speed Dial (the new visual bookmarks in the browser).

Sweet… Some publicity…
Here’s hoping that some day CNet will move away from their heavily-biased-towards-Firefox position.

Excellent news, especially considering how it’s still in beta.
using
As long as they state it is a beta, I can’t see anything wrong with that kind of promotion. After all, Opera pushed a press release too on the topic.
Lets just hope that someone downloaded it, and really gave it a try.

In opera press this keys togheter:
Ctrl+Shift+4
What is that black window?
using
Ctrl+Shift+4 opens contacts panel for me
using
Correct. Ctrl+Shift+4 opens contacts panel. No black window for me.
using
Ctrl+Shift+4, turns my whole page area black. I don’t use opera contacts/mail accounts so thats why. That’s an unfortunate bug.
using
i guess if you dont have M@ setup then ctrl+shift=4 opens a black window. perhaps a bug to fix. could maybe changed to a prompt to setup m2
using
This is good publicity for Opera, bet any Firefox users will open their eyes after this.
using
I hope someone actually reports that bug, instead of just hoping that it gets fixed…
using
ctrl shift 4 = nothing at all here..(I dont use mail) it may just be XP…
and the proper way to report bugs…
