Opera jobs over at www.opera.jobs

Interesting, but I don’t want to move to any of the countries where jobs are available. But every time I look there are new locations so maybe someday they will have a Canadian or New Zealand office… or even a Greenlan one (as if). I think they should open an office in Edmonton (just to piss off the guys in Toronto and Calgary)… or Saskatoon (cheape real estate).

Note: Sorry about some of the comments being “eaten up”. I tried using the Akismet software for fighting the hundreds of comment spam that I get each day. I got tired of deleting the spam comments.
For now I’ll go back to keyword moderation, where I have defined a set of keywords that are most commonly used in comment spam.

What about a CAPTCHA system? It works very well on my blog, and my website gets hit by bots all the time.
Another good idea I saw was a verification system that asked each poster a random question, and required them to type in the correct answer. The questions and answers were easy to customize. Unfortunately, this was for phpBB 2.0.x and not Wordpress…
Anyway, my original comment was something along the lines of not being able to get a job at Opera Software due to the fact that I don’t want to relocate. I’d love to work for them, but I doubt that they would make such an exception for me.
I’d especially like to test Opera on an array of various platforms. I think it would be fun to install 5 or 6 operating systems on my computer, and run tests to make sure the latest internal builds all functioned peroperly on them…

Daniel: It wouldn’t hurt to add a Spam Poison button - http://www.spampoison.com/

GT500, I’ve tried to avoid CAPTCHAs, since I want to encourage my readers to comment.

BAMAToNE, thanks. I’ll check it out later. I’m on my way out to the AJAX World conference in New York.
