I’m just trying out MarcOpera4USB right now and I have to say it’s better than Opera@USB purely because it works with your existing version of opera.

And what about OperaPortable? IMHO, it’s even better than Opera@USB!

Main features:
- Doesn’t make your USB drive tired - all code and data are stored in a temporary place on host computer
- No trace left after exiting - files are overwritten, not just deleted
- Create multiple profiles for different places

You can manage multiple profiles at once! For example, in office, school, home, internet cafe, etc you can have different profiles for each of them. The profile file will contain all the settings you made while running. So, your settings, history, wand passwords, etc are packed into a single file, then they are overwritten and deleted on the host machine (so you leave no trace). When you run Opera Portable on another machine, your settings will be applied again.

Even if Opera crashes, no trash is left in the host computer.

Well… it works perfectly also on win9x systems, let’s you use your installation of Opera (with all your customizations), all things works perfectly (also widgets, and everything is putted on the Opera folder (like personalized html homepage, programs (like pspad to edit .ini files, ecc…)), and much more…

…you have only to try it and you’ll like it ;D

Nor a Mac version. Firefox used to have a USB version which would work both for Mac and Windows.

The most popular USB application for Opera is by far Opera-USB;

In my opinion the MarcOpera4USB application is the actual best tool to uso Opera on USB drive ... my personal opinion

The title should really be “How to run Opera for Windows from your USB Flash Drive?” as I’ve yet to see a linux version of opera-usb. Which is a shame coz I could really do with one.
