Compilation of Opera tips and tricks
Published March 22nd, 2007 5:25 PM EDT By Daniel GoldmanI recently came across a couple blog posts that covered some Opera tips.
Over on CyberNotes, Ryan posted some tips and keyboard shortcuts for Opera. On the DiscoverX blog, Nithin Raju compiled his top 15 Opera tips, though it seems like it was originally written a while ago, since he talks about future support for BitTorrent in Opera, while it has been available in Opera since version 9.0 (Opera 9.2 is coming out soon).
Take a look at them, you may learn something new.

Hey Daniel,
Do you know if Opera is going to switch to Yahoo! in the desktop browser as well? I find it kind of interesting to see Yahoo! in Speed Dial, but Google in the search field on the address bar. Kind of confusing.

Ryan, Google will continue to be the default integrated search engine in the browser. With Speed Dial, however, Yahoo is the default one. Having said that, you could easily change the default search provider in Speed Dial.

Meh, I first only read “Compilation of Opera” and already got weird thoughts. Ah, whatever, nevermind.

All those tips are well known, users can find them in forum threads, the wiki, etc — everywhere not named Opera help / Opera tutorials… which brings up an old issue: why is Documentation, tutorials, tips, help, etc so poor in the Opera website?.
