Other Opera blogs
Published February 8th, 2007 5:20 PM EST By Daniel GoldmanI compiled a list of other Opera fan blogs and added links to them on the sidebar of this blog.
Have I missed any? I only want to add blogs that have more than 90% of its content Opera-related. Just a few weeks ago I stumbled across a Chinese Opera blog, and now I have no idea where it is – does anyone know its URL?
If you have a non-English blog, I give you full permission to translate any or all of my blog posts. In fact, I encourage you to do so. I would like to see more Opera buzz in the blogosphere. It’s about time. After all, Opera puts out such great products as the Wii browser and Opera Mini; let’s make sure the blogosphere is aware of that.
You don’t need to have a full fledged Opera blog to make a difference; even an occasional post about Opera on your personal blog would make a dent. Give Opera a mention each time you come across a nice feature in the browser. Write a review on the browser. We all benefit when more people talk about Opera. And by all means, if you see something you don’t like, write about it too – we’re open to constructive criticism.
Blogging has an extreme power of word-of-mouth. Take Opera Mini for example – in its first 12 months since it was released it accumulated more than 10 million users. Opera Mini is a great “little” browser; it sells itself – through you. Blog about it!

Well you can count with me for the buzz.
Anyway I have been a couple of years talking about the goods in Opera browser.
You can read them (sorry, they are in spanish).

Hello Daniel, you can put the Portuguese forum community, if you want.

C.Felipe, the forum is not technically a blog.

Hehe, I guess you’ve just started your first big campaign to spread Opera after they hired you Daniel. (Or at least that’s what the last few posts on Opera Watch point to. )
I don’t blog too often and the only people who read mine are from the OC forums. But I’m here for whatever else I can do.

Hi Daniel
if you want you can add also this italian site: OperaZone.it
It’s no a blog but the site of italian community (forum, translated and our own tutorials, tools, userjs, and much much more) but in this site I write news on Opera every time I can (I often use your blog)

I’ve recently started an Opera blog in Dutch (official language of The Netherlands and a part of Belgium).
Although it doesn’t have many posts (yet) it is 90% Opera-related (if not more). I made it for a couple of my friends, but, who knows, maybe other Dutch people find it useful as well.
So here is the address:
http://operasoomph.blogspot.com/
It is funny, because I was just about to ask you if I had permission to translate (parts) of you articles. Of course, I will mention the link to the relevent post(s) on your site.
Thank you very much in advance if you could add me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Seems like you are looking for some traditional blog with hundreds of words on opera. But my mission was to compile useful things and also links page to help opera users. Helping is the best way to convince someone to use opera. People read many reviews and try out something new and if can’t get hold of it within first few days, they quit. We need to stop that through helping.
Anyway, goodluck Opera watch in mission to promote opera.

philry4n, it’s great that you could provide Indonesians with Opera news. You already have some content there, when can I link to your blog?
using
Well, you can link it now
it’s still premature though. I’m translating some of Opera Watch news now. Hopefully will get more visitors from Indonesia.
