Wow, Opera on Wii is an awesome trojan horse for those that wouldn’t consider Opera on other platforms.

Watching Youtube/gVideo on TV is a great freebie benefit that solves taking online video off your laptop screen and onto your big screen (pre-Apple iTV, etc.)…

I think the Opera browser on the Wii is a big mess. Maybe good to check on specific up to date info that needs to be available from the television screen, but not meant to be used as an alternative to computers/laptops for extensive browsing. The only good use I’ve found for the browser is to allow me to quickly check on traffic conditions.

Ugh. Very disappointed. Lastnight when downloading the Opera browser Youtube worked just fine. Upon waking up today, YouTube no longer works (”java script is turned off or Old Flash Player” issue). Google Video works though… hmmm I wonder why…??
