Opera gearing up for 9.1 release

The next major upgrade for the Opera desktop browser, Opera 9.1, is just around the corner. Both yesterday and today Opera’s desktop team put out release candidates of the new browser. The big new feature of Opera 9.1 is fraud protection.

I like the way Olli (the guy in charge of the desktop QA at Opera Software) put it, “Our favorite customer, Santa, has a deadline coming up so we are approaching release of Opera 9.10.”

Apparently, when Santa gets involved, things get done… ;)

    Hi,
great to hear. I switched to this week’s mid-weekly this week (many weeks :) ) and it seems to be stable yet.

As I don’t need the fraud protection I turned it off, but the grey question mark in my adress-bar remains. How do I remove it?
