As I mentioned a few days ago, the new Opera Developer site (called Dev.Opera) is now open for beta testing.
The developer site contains articles, discussions, and Open Source JavaScript libraries. You can read all about it in Arve’s blog post.

We will have an IRC chat tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:00PM CET (that’s 11:00AM EST) with Opera’s Jonny Axelsson, who will discuss the new developer site. Join in on the conversation at #webapps.

Excellent news, hopefully we’ll see more websites that support Opera now.
using
Nice.
Can’t wait for the tools, though.

It is good to hear that the articles in the Developers’ Corner will be moved to Dev.Opera
It will be better to integrate these sites to the Dev.Opera as well.

@David Naylor
How’s this? I’m starting to use Opera more and more again these days, because FF 2.0 is just really slow in comparison, and the features are not quite as good as Opera just yet.
And, this comes after a long lapse of not using Opera at all. So, FF must have taken many steps backwards with buggy code and a slow running browser to turn me and others away from using it. Not that I won’t use it anymore, but I am giving Opera another shot.
Thanks Operawatch for keeping me on the good side

does this site compare to bugzilla, or if not, is there a opera-bugzilla site available?
using
Is it possible to find the log from the conversation on Mirc? Or did anyone save it? Quiet friday at work here..:)

Øyvind,
The chat log will probably be posted on the Web Applications team blog

Will hold an eye on that blog then.
Cheers

Sohil, after I published this post, I modified the time of the blog as a result of the day light savings change.

I’ll love if Opera have a SDK for developers program a toolbar or something like this in Opera. I want to see a Google Bookmarks in my opera working like IE.
