Four million Nintendo Wiis by year’s end — that’s 4,000,000 more Opera browsers
Published November 1st, 2006 3:32 PM EST By Daniel GoldmanBetaNews published an article today that cites Nintendo’s plan to release at least four million Wii consoles between its launch on November 19th and the end of the year.
That’s 4,000,000 more Opera browsers in the market.
Granted not all Wii gamers will use the Opera browser on the Wii to browse the web, but it’s likely that a nice percentage of them will. According to the article most of the 4 million Wii consoles will be shipped to the US.
