This might not make sense, but recently I installed Opera on a network drive that my university provides, and on that installation of Opera (where I first checked the IP address widget) the colour settings are not changed even after reboot. While now that I am checking it at home, the setting are forgotten on restarting Opera!!

I noticed that since Preview Release 1 the so called “stable” realese ws more unstable then 9.00. The frit 4 or 5 weekly’s were about as stable and now the weekly’s are more stable.

BTW, will the weekly builds still be released after Opera 9 final is released? Or will Opera ASA put that on hold till they start nearing Opera’s next version?

About the Poll, the results can be taken to mean –

1. Opera 9 solves a lot of problems for several people.

2. Opera 9 beta is already pretty stable.

I personally do not know any Opera user who uses Opera 9 as his primary browser (I’ve come across only one woman who uses Opera). So the poll results could also mean – those who come to your website are more informed Opera users and more daring too.

I like the way widgets cam have favicon’s (at least the comics widget does).

Why is it that widgets do not have memory? The one’s I use – weather, comics, and some more do not remember setting, is it a mistake on widget developer’s part? If so, Opera ASA should put up a tutorial on “How to make widgets remember settings” on their website.
